alternative and traditional health services for people suffering from stress?
When traditional health services are those that society believes that is effective and based largely on drugs and operations. Whereas alternative health services are those that are less dependent on medications and procedures physicians.
I'm not sure if you're asking for opinions on whether one is better than the other or what forms they are. I will give my best. There are medicines can be taken to the tension. Sometimes that's the only way people will let themselves be treated. I have read in some medical literature that people get anxious and upset when your doctor suggests that perhaps need to seek the services of a psychiatrist or a therapist. They'll take the pills in talk therapy. The therapy has proven to be as helpful as medication in treating stress and depression. Sometimes people need extra help of medication, but when used in conjunction with therapy, people seem to do better in the long term. Therapy, esp. for stress, involves a person learn what things cause stress, determining how the body respond, and learn how to not be so stressed. Since that does not involve medication, which could be alternative health, but both are happening more in tandem throughout time. As for alternative medicine, even herbs and remedies that people take the drugs are of some kind. The food is medicine. Acupuncture may be ideal for stress. Yoga is very effective as well. Exercise is a good remedy for stress. Alternative medicine also requires the person to re-learn way of life … how to eat and drink, what to eat and drink, to examine one's life to see what needs to change. I think it can be very difficult to choose one approach over another. Both have their place and can be very useful when applied judiciously. I hope this makes sense.
