Natural Recommendations to dodge the flu
If you're reading this in the fall or winter, then, wherever you live in the northern hemisphere Flu season has arrived. In recent weeks, the flu has attracted an enormous amount of attention. The vaccine is sold out immediately, for fear of contracting this known virus. To underscore the scare, health officials say that every winter 5% to 20% of the population catches the flu, 200,000 people are hospitalized and 36,000 people die from it. But when advertising goes, the medical community has to admit that the swine flu is no worse than other flu. Some even say the statistics above are not exactly honest. For example, the 36,000 people who die are those with serious medical problems in other areas that are weak. For them, the flu was in fact a serious matter. I recently sent a link to give nine reasons not to give their children the flu vaccine. Among them, a) the consequences can be more dangerous that the flu itself, b) Avian flu is just another flu, is not unusually lethal c) before vaccination programs have proven influenza useless; d) older children, vaccination is a common problem, e) the vaccine has not been proven to work. But despite the misleading statements about the swine flu, nobody wants to get sick. Let us consider some common sense measures, anyone can take to greatly reduce your chances of getting the flu. Wash hands thoroughly with liquid soap and water. (Antibacterial soap works better than normal liquid soap). A dishwasher is good because it washes the dishes in water too hot for the hands to handle what kills more germs. Isolate sick as much as possible and stay away from others who might be the flu. Even drinking water can be a source of contamination. It is likely that their source of drinking water has been tested. City water has a minimum and is often tested, and so water should also be tested. However, especially during this season, additional filtering is strongly recommended. It's amazing how viruses can contaminate drinking water a house and does not take much to be dangerous. Additional filtering can fix that. The promise of moving them to undetectable levels is certainly encouraging. Flu season is not going away. We face many choices as to how we can avoid getting sick. Whether or not you take photos, be sure to follow the above suggestions, so you can do everything possible to keep the flu away.
