How often should a grid of Pool-power vertical filter and recharge?
I bought a house with an inground pool so this is new to me. When washing, how long should the length of the filter and the amount of DE should be used in recharging? Help!
Use the gauge to determine when to backwash. When the pressure is approximately 8 to 10 pounds more to "clean up" the pressure is the time of turbulence. After washing again "filter" mode a few seconds and then rinse again. Do this 3 times. Indeed, they are "Shake" and get the filter OF dirtiest ever. Check the filter tank and see how many square meters of filter is the filter. (36, 48, 60 or 72). Add a 1 pound coffee can DE for every 5 square feet of filter surface.
