I have a luxury Intex krystal clear salt water system for my pool. What doesthe code: "90" mean?
We have been trying to establish the pool for weeks and finally get everything we need, but I have missplaced the manuel and the DVD does not tell me anything. When you turn it properly, it will work for a few seconds and then begin to emit. The code "90" appears and I wonder as to what that means? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
This is a topic related to water flow. If you have a cleaning cartridge filter and pump is working well, would check the actual flow switch on the generator. If installed upside down or if something is causing them to stick to the "no flow" position, the cell stops receiving the juice to create chlorine is supposed to. I would also be checking that the cell itself is installed facing the right direction. There should be an arrow or "" "Off" marked on it to indicate the correct direction of water flow. If installed backwards to make sure you have that error code 90 from the switch water flow is no water flowing when it's not really … only backward through the switch. It may even be that the switch is defective as well but I would start my troubleshooting there. For the record the water flow direction is such that the cell (thingie with all the wires connected to it that looks like a tube) should be after the pump inlet, but just before his return to the pool. That is the direction of flow. If the "on" in the cell is by the current pump .. it is connected correctly. If that points from the return to the pump … this is wrong. The same idea with the flow switch. If only an arrow and no "in / out", the arrow should point down the line to your statement and not back at the pump.
