Blaine Wa November 18, 2008 - PURIO ACCEPTS WEST AFRICAN LEADERS’ INVITATION TO PRESENT TECHNOLOGY
Purio is pleased to report that it has accepted an invitation to meet with high ranking government officials from a region of West Africa to formally present its water/wastewater technology.
“Discussions have been taking place between Purio and a representative of the Minister of Presidential and Public Affairs for several months while they have been searching the planet for the most effective water and wastewater treatment technology,” says Joseph Swanson, VP of Purio. “Purio has communicated the features and benefits, performance statistics, and the versatility of our technology and, according to their feed-back, it appears that we may have equipment that’s unique in the world. We are pleased that we’ve been invited to formally present our technology to the assembly at this important event.”
Participating in the meeting, scheduled for Saturday, November 22, will be The United Nations Development Program (UNDP), a number of financial institutions including United Bank of Africa, and a delegation of government dignitaries including The Minister of Presidential and Public Affairs. A private meeting between Purio Executives and the Minister is planned following the main event to discuss possible strategies regarding Purio’s involvement in the country’s development plans.
Daryl English, President of Purio, says, “Developing countries are well aware that a most important factor influencing their populations’ ability to prosper is good health. Clean, safe water is at the top of their list of priorities in that quest, and that’s where Purio comes in. Our technology is designed to be versatile so that it can be deployed to either drinking water purification, or wastewater treatment. That versatility, along with the energy efficiency, offers a combination of benefits that are very attractive. We look forward to this meeting as a first step toward the development of productive and long-lasting relationships in West Africa so that together, we may accomplish this all-important task.”

Blaine Wa November 12, 2008 - GRAND OPENING OF PURIO’S DIRECT WATER DISTRIBUTION DIVISION SCHEDULED FOR NOVEMBER 15, 2008
Purio is pleased to report that it is in the final stages of setting up its first commercial outlet in Southern California. The mandate of the division DBA UltraSafe Water Source TM is to serve the growing number of business offices that wish to eliminate bottled water, aim to cut costs, eliminate the 5-gallon bottles from their operations, and do so with nothing to buy.
Daryl English, President of Purio, says, “North America is in the infancy of a major paradigm shift in the way business offices supply purified drinking water to their staffs and clients. We see it as a major up-coming trend and we see ourselves in a great position to profit from it. Businesses are motivated in many ways to take action and upgrade their office water service from bottle-style dispensers to modern point-of-use (POU) water purifiers and totally do away with bottled water delivery. The first motivation is cost cutting and we can often cut the monthly water budget by over 25%. Second is the convenience factor; by eliminating the plastic 5-gallon bottles, offices free up precious floor and storage space, and eliminate the risk of employee injury caused by the lifting of the 45 pound back-breakers. Our POU purifiers not only offer a fresher tasting, better quality water, compared to bottles because it’s not stored in plastic for weeks before consumption, but they also offer a greater production capacity so that businesses never more worry about running out of purified water. Couple that with the environmental care factor, whereby business can update their water service from the energy hungry, labor intensive and carbon producing delivery system of old fashioned bottles, and we are of the opinion that we are on the leading edge of a business boom.”
Mr. English cited cities like San Francisco, Chicago and Vancouver, British Columbia as examples of municipalities that have banned the use of bottled water in their facilities due to concerns over its affect on the environment as well as concerns about possible health risks recently revealed from studies of chemicals leaching from water bottles into the drinking water.
“These municipalities, and private corporations taking similar action are searching for the alternative service,” Mr. English continues. “Others may not be aware of improvements that they could make to there operations and that’s where we come in; our equipment, sourced right here in the USA totally eliminates the need for bottles by producing purified water right on the spot and on demand. On every factor considered; economy, convenience, water freshness, reliable supply and environmental care, we can offer our clients a significant improvement over the old system.”
“Most of our setting up is done, with warehouse and office space secured, inventory in stock and paid for,” Mr. English elaborates. Our website, which is a work-in-progress is live at www.ultrasafe.us.com and in the up-coming weeks we will be fine-tuning our marketing strategy to grow our business.”
Earl Switenky, spokesman for Purio Inc. and co-founder of UltraSafe Water Source, Canada, adds, “We have eight years of history and experience in this particular industry. Although economic times are changing, we are taking this initiative to develop an immediate cash flow for our company. We see the distribution of the new product line as synergistic with the commercialization of our patented water clarification technology in that it adds a point of use technology for the consumer. The fact that we are distributing the new product separate from the patented technology simply allows us to accelerate our cash flow potential. Every indication of the size of this future trend is nearly staggering and we are determined to address it. We are not only doing it for our company, but we’re also doing it for the benefit of our business clients so together we may all do it for the better care of our beloved planet.”

Blaine Wa November 10 2008 - SEWAGE TO SAFE WATER – PURIO DOES IT ECONOMICALLY
Purio is pleased to report that it has received the first results of a two-section independent lab analysis on processed sewage samples obtained during its recent pilot test of their transportable water purification system. The Purio system, which uses no membrane filters or chlorine, exceeded expectations as summarized below.
“Over the past six months we have extensively tested and demonstrated our portable water clarifier/purifier on the production of safe drinking water from unsafe sources,” says Leonard Girard, Chief Science Officer with Purio. “Every demonstration, as previously reported, produced safe, delicious drinking water and so we have stepped up to the challenge of processing residential wastewater right out of a residential sewer manhole. Our objective was two-fold; first to prove that our patented process is able to decolorize, deodorize and disinfect raw sewage in order to exceed regulatory requirements for safe disposal into the environment, and second to attempt to produce a sanitary product water suitable for re-use in food irrigation, gardening and the like. Truthfully, we dreamed about but were not really expecting that our output water quality would reach potable standard so we’re elated with the results of that demonstration.”
Girard continues, “Our unit was set to process about 3250 USG (12,250 liters) per day and is equipped with on-board testing monitors which display water quality parameters in real-time along the treatment train during operation. Of course the most important area of concern was the unit’s ability to eliminate E.coli and coliform bacteria which present serious risk to human health if ingested. Our monitors, as well as the lab report, (from the same accredited lab which has assayed our previous samples) summarized below, both agree that the water produced was clear, bacteria-free and sanitary.”
Earl Switenky, spokesman for Purio Inc. says, “We have proven an even higher level of capability in managing the world’s water crisis. We have successfully coupled energy high-efficiency with remarkable results with no compromises. We have confirmed that our high quality, sanitary product water lends itself to processing through RO in order to qualify for the designation as “Purified Water”. The lab tested some 32 organic and inorganic analytes and the table below summarizes some of the most important ones which prove the powerful effectiveness of our clarifier and sanitizing chambers.”

September 25, 2008 - Lab Reports Confirm Purio Makes Safe Drinking Water From Dirty Pond
Blaine Wa Purio Inc (OTCBB: PURO)is pleased to report that it has received the first of two independent lab reports on water samples produced during its recent pair of demonstrations of their transportable water purification system. (see media release of Aug 11,2008)
“This lab report confirms results obtained from our on-board monitoring system,” says Leonard Girard, Chief Science Officer with Purio. “Our first demonstration this season processed dirty water from an open pond located in a farming region of North Central Saskatchewan Canada during the hot mid-summer growing season. There were wild marsh plants and vegetation around the perimeter of the pond and wildlife such as waterfowl, insects and small animals in and around it. Our unit was set to process about 3250 USG (12,250 liters) per day. Our portable water clarification and purification unit is equipped with on-board testing monitors which display water quality parameters in real-time at several points along the treatment train during operation. These monitors gave us confidence that our unit was producing safe, aesthetically pleasing water at the time. Of course the most important area of concern is the unit’s ability to eliminate E.coli and coliform bacteria which present serious risk to human health if ingested. Our monitors, as well as the accredited lab report (summarized below) both agree that the drinking water produced was clear, bacteria-free and sanitary.”
Girard continues, “Pond water like this typically contains high levels of dissolved organic materials which could cause high levels of Trihalomethanes (commonly called THM’s, such as Chloroform, many of which have been identified as carcinogens) if sanitized in conventional methods involving high levels of Chlorine or Chloramines. Our process, does not use Chlorine at all and therefore we are able to produce a THM-free, therefore safer, healthier drinking water.”
Earl Switenky, spokesman for Purio Inc. says, “Our compact unit is able to produce safe drinking water without any membrane filtration. This money-saving factor coupled with our energy efficient process allows us to achieve such remarkable results while keeping our process cost low. The lab tested some 34 organic and inorganic analytes and the table below summarizes some of the most important ones which prove the powerful effectiveness of our clarifier and sanitizing chambers.”

September 9, 2008 - Purio Receives Letter of Intent from Evergreen
Purio Receives Letter of Intent to Install Water and Wastewater Works
Purio Inc. is pleased to announce that it has received a letter of intent from Evergreen Estates Ltd., to build, install, commission and operate the water and sewage treatment facilities at their multi-phase 450 acre resort development in the beautiful parkland region of North-Central Saskatchewan Canada.
David Miner, Secretary for Evergreen Estates Ltd. specifies some of the reasons for Evergreen’s selection of the Purio technology:
“Our development philosophy for the site is to provide an exceptional outdoors experience for the residents coupled with modern amenities while minimizing the impact of the development on the environment.
Your waste-water technology helps us to realize our vision for the development as it allows us to eliminate the need for the construction of a sewage lagoon and for sewage holding tanks on each lot. In doing so, we estimate that the installation of your technology will result in a capital cost savings of between 1 and 1.5 million dollars. The fact that your sewage treatment system will eliminate the odors normally associated with a lagoon system is a very important aesthetic benefit, and the small footprint of your system allows us to use land we already own rather than acquiring additional property to facilitate a lagoon.
Your ability to use a variety of water sources for the production of potable water added to the perceived advantages of using your company.”
Earl Switenky, spokesman for Purio Inc. says, “Evergreen’s choice of the Purio technology confirms our company’s ability to provide a host of advantages to developers. In this pristine forest setting, near a beautiful recreational lake, aesthetic advantages and economic advantages will make it possible for Evergreen Estates to offer its residents the waterworks conveniences of city living. Our modular equipment can be installed and commissioned as the development grows thereby saving many huge up-front costs.”
“Purio will participate in the operation of the water utilities services as a utility company, thereby creating a residual income stream for our company. A project like this, fully on-line would generate annual revenues to the company of approximately $350,000.”

August 11, 2008 - Purio Provides Update on Mobile Water Treatment Demonstration and Initial Testing
Blaine, Washington – August 11, 2008: Purio Inc. [OTCBB: PURO] Purio Inc. is pleased to announce that its drinking-water clarification/purification demonstration taking place in the prairie province of Saskatchewan Canada has produced very satisfying in-house product water analysis and that product water samples from a series of test ports strategically positioned on the machine will be obtained during routine operation of the equipment and submitted to an accredited independent lab early in this week.
Leonard Girard, Chief Science Officer for Purio Inc. says, “Purio has operated the down-scaled model of our patented technology using a variety of water samples and that exercise has proven the unit’s ability to produce fresh, clear, safe drinking water from contaminated and unsafe sources. Our next step is to prove the results in a recognized and accepted format which is only possible through an independent recognized lab.”
“As a further demonstration of the unit’s ability, around mid-week, we are preparing to move the unit to a new location at a shallow lake near a recreational resort village to show the transportability of the unit, and its ability to produce safe water from a variety of sources,” Girard comments. “We will also be ordering and reporting on a complete battery of lab analysis on that operation as well.”
Earl Switenky, spokesman for Purio Inc. says, “Because our technology clarifies water without the use of membranes, we have captured the attention of interested parties from around the world. Some have admitted their skepticism that they don’t believe that our claims are possible. Through our operations and testing through this week, and the following accredited lab reports, we intend to make believers out of even the most discriminating observers. The economical processing methods we use may open doors of possibilities for thirsty communities and companies around the world who simply won’t accept unsafe drinking water any longer.”
July 31, 2008 - Purio Announces Compact Mobile Water Treatment System Arrives at First Demonstration Location
Blaine Wa, Purio Inc is pleased to announce that it has completed the move of its compact mobile water treatment system to its first demonstration location.
"Our preliminary mechanical testing of the new unit was completed to our total satisfaction with all systems functioning superbly", says Earl Switenky, spokesmen for Purio.
"As planned, our first demonstration is designed to produce drinking water. The unit will be drawing water from a stagnant and polluted pond formerly used to water livestock," says Leonard Girard chief science officer for Purio. "This water certainly is unsuitable for human consumption as is, and this demonstration is designed to prove our unit's ability to produce safe drinking water from such sources economically."
Purio will be submitting water samples to recognized testing laboratories and reporting the results.
In the coming weeks the unit will be moved to a municipal location that will provide an ideal demonstration of the unit's capability to clarify and sanitize residential waste water for recycling purposes.
June 12, 2008 - Purio Announces Compact Unit Completion and Testing
BLAINE, WA--(MARKET WIRE)--Jun 12, 2008 -- Purio (OTC BB:PURO.OB) is pleased to announce that the construction of its compact unit has now been completed and preliminary testing has begun.
"We have added a second dimension to the over-all testing of this new unit," says Earl Switenky, spokesman for Purio. "In addition to our previous plans of testing the unit on a wastewater location, we feel that, since the unit is new, it is most appropriate that we apply it to a drinking water production assignment first. The location for this test has been determined and the first water source is an irrigation canal that is surrounded by dairy farms and horticulture enterprises. Our goal is to economically upgrade the water to drinking water quality, and at the same time find the maximum through-put potential of the machine. We have met an aggressive goal in the area of energy efficiency in that we are definitely within the range of capability of being powered by a compact solar power pack in suitable regions."
"Over the course of the next few weeks we plan to challenge the unit's capability by selecting a variety of water and wastewater sources in order to verify the scope of applications that this technology may address," says Switenky
Switenky added, "This compact, high-production unit is designed without membrane filters and that, we believe, is a break-through in the water purification industry. We are determined to achieve a lower cost of water purification for the whole planet to enjoy."
