How I can adjust the pump for my aquarium?
I have two goldfish, quite small, in a tank of 10 liters. However, I'm not sure how high (or low) to set the bomb. Should it be too fast or too slow? Also I have a plant in that country. I am sure that not only amount of oxygen in the tank!
You really should get a larger tank and make sure you have adequate filtration system. If you want your fish to be happy and healthy, please get a bigger tank. However …. as you are shopping around for a proper size tank …… If airpump are using to create a current in the tank, use some moderate adjustment. Your fish must be able to easily swim upstream. If you notice your rare fish turn uses its fins to swim and justs drift around the tank, air pump setting is too high. Add the fish and follow their instincts common sense. If you are using air pump for air stone or ornament, the bubbles rise should be about 1 / 2 the size of a grain of pepper, and should take about 1 1 / 2 seconds to reach to the top of the tank. If the bubbles are causing your fish to "lift" is too high! I do not mean to make light of the question, however, his instincts and seeing the fish is the best way to know if your settings are correct.
