Sand, cartridge or – How These filters differ pool
The pools have traditionally or sand, cartridge or DE filter to clean water. Let out the differences of each type of filter.
Sand Filter, the first type of filter works with fine sand filter inside the tank or container to collect the dirt and debris from the pool. The pool water is sent to filter pool pump at the top of the tank and the installation of a vessel within the call provider of "rain" water down and across the sand. As the water migrates along the sand bed of the pool water is collected from the interior side the bottom of the tank and returned to the pool clean, filtered. The sand inside the filter can last many years if the filter washes. " What is cleaning? Backwash is when the water flow within the filter is reversed (by the selector valve out of the filter) and washing dirty water and debris through the discharge pipe pool system. During the wash, a little sand is lost every time and the water level of the pool is reduced. When it is time to replace the sand, the old arena will to be removed, either by hand or with a tool and the filter must be replaced with new fresh filter media.
The second type of filter is a cartridge filter uses a replaceable cartridge element to capture dirt and debris from a group and / or spa. The cartridge is in a tank top cover or lid is carried out by a or clamp knob and is made to eliminate the ability of the mind. When the cartridge has been accumulated dirt and debris from the cartridge is removed, a hose, to remove dirt and the item is replaced back into the tank. The cartridge will last many years if cleaned regularly and not allowed to be fuller. Filters clean the cartridge when not required washing, the water level of the pool is not affected during cleaning. Cartridge filters are a perfect choice for resorts, due to this fact and the fact of the facility cleaning.
The FILTER is the third type of filter that we will discuss. This type of filter has louvers on the inside of the tank and having a fine layer of DE. A As the pool water is sent to tank pool pump passes through these networks, covered with ED and catch dirt and debris for removal. The filter of diatomaceous earth can be "washed" periodically to remove dirt and debris from inside the filter. Like the sand filter whenever the filter is backwashed, the pool level is low and some lost. Finally, the filter must be dismantled, removed and replaced old DE fresh diatomaceous earth inside the filter. Fresh can be added directly to the filter tank, while the tank is open for service.
