Water Filter Cartridge Ge
My sink below water filter stopped working when I replaced the filters. Why?
I have a GE Smartwater under the sink filter is two years old. The last time you replace the filter cartridges, water flow was reduced to a trickle. Thinking of the new cartridges can be defective, I tried to put the old cartridges again, but still barely functioning. The flow of water at full pressure for a split second, then reduced to a minimum. Actually get a little more water, keeping the supply line filter valve in a middle ground, but still takes forever to fill a glass. No leaks and the filter cartridges are on properly. Is there any way to solve this problem, or is the filter unit is exhausted?
Unscrew screen filter at the tip of the faucet and rinse. Many times when working on plumbing debris is dislodged and blocks the screen. Ken Tool Man
