Water Filter Ge Profile
There is a strange gel in the water in my refrigerator.?
We just received a very nice used GE Profile refrigerator. There is clearly a strange silicon / Gel to block the $ 40 new filter put in water and ice have film in them and taste horrible. Tap water is fine, but not filtered. Any ideas. We had a repair man when the water stopped coming out, is by blocking the filter and the valve at the top that splits water into the different lines. Now I wonder if the gel partly ruined. Does anyone know where you coming or what? We have no water problems anywhere in the house.
