Water Filter System For Refrigerator
insects in the water cooler?
We had our Kenmore refrigerator less than a year and some black / brown group dropped to the wife of my glass. We called Sears and after showing more of the dirty water (which looked like small black stools), they said they saw nothing and do not clean the system or repair … it was a responsibility. I did not see it in my tap water and even remove the filter and still had the same problem. The water company said it was probably something (an insect) that went into the refrigerator while he was in a warehouse somewhere and just leaving. He even said that there was probably bacteria enough to make us sick … I had off and on diarrhea and two children had strep throat and ear infections 3 times during the year. Sears refuses to help in any way unless we can identify this … even after looking at the pictures. Can anyone help identify this or tell me what it is? I have pictures I would be happy to email anyone if you can help.
streptococcus is most likely not caused by what was in the water. and are hiring a contractor that makes water safety. that will test the water to see if it is harmful or not. (A problem like this happened to me.) It can be expensive, but worth keeping your family safe. And while only a water filter to clean tap water. or just drink tap water.
