I have a master of the jungle 14 15 inch fixed blade knife I have a pocket knife I have a pocket knife multipurpose with can opener, screwdriver, scissors, corkscrew, saw, etc. I have water purification pills I have a compass that I have I have a whistle I have several meters of wire to pull the parties have secured lids in a small plastic container to avoid wetting. Not bad, but where are you thinking of getting lost (or camp, not sure what you mean by survival here) somewhere. If you're going to have potentially dangerous animals (bears, cougars, etc.) a sidearm is good. That knife could be able to make a bear to bleed to death, but is more likely that you would not be dead long before that (a coup d' the leg can kill). If you are going to be somewhere with wildlife that may attack people, I suggest you keep a gun properly (for the bears, a .44 Magnum works well.) I realized rather have a can opener in that pocket knife – maybe you should bring some canned food map? And definitely bring. The compass is worthless if not have a map to help guide you. flashlights with extra batteries are always useful (or you can shake a charge). I also noticed his pen ….. Does paper for that? Maybe you should get a journal. A fishing pole would go well with the fishing gear to one of a piece of wood is not so easy if you no experience in that.
